The Putnam County Wine & Food Fest is proud to announce the 9th annual event that will be held on August 10 and 11, 2019, at Mayor’s Park, 61 Fair Street, Cold Spring, NY. The two-day festival will have a Beer Garden; will highlight renowned cider, spirits and wine producers from Hudson Valley and beyond and will feature food, arts and crafts, plus local and international artists.
“The Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce is very pleased that the Putnam County Wine and Food Fest will be in Cold Spring this year” Kate Liberman, President, Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce said. “Interest in artisanal and farm to table foods and drink has continued to grow among consumers and as a vital economic sector of Putnam County. Cold Spring’s Mayor’s Park, with its beautiful views of the Hudson River and proximity to Metro North, is the perfect location to attract participants, locals, regional tourists and visitors from New York City” she noted.
Getting to the fest will be a breeze as patrons can take Metro North’s Hudson Line to Cold Spring, NY and the venue is within walking distance. You can also drive or take the Trolley from the Beacon or Cold Spring Metro North station. Parking is along the perimeter of the park or in the Municipal Parking Lot.

An important commitment by the Putnam County Wine & Food Fest is giving back to the community. While the event is a private, for profit event, Putnam County Wine & Food Fest partners with local charities and this year’s charity is the First Presbyterian Church of Philipstown Food Pantry. This will afford them the opportunity to use a code to receive 45% of all sales tracked to the code!
General Admission tickets to the festival, which runs from 11am to 6pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday, are $10 and include cooking demonstrations, live music, food, specialty food, arts and crafts vendors for purchase and other activities. Wine Tasting tickets are $20/Advance and $30/Gate include a wine tasting glass, event program and wine, spirits and cider tastings along with other product samples inside the main tent. Performances will feature musical genres including pop, country, R&B and Reggae.

Every Saturday morning, their local Food Pantry goes into action right at First Presbyterian Church of Philipstown! From 9 – 10 am, their church becomes the front line in the fight against hunger in our community. The Food Pantry is a dependable, weekly source of supplemental grocery supplies to families in need. This FPCP mission started 30+ years ago on our then pastor’s porch and continues to grow, thanks to support from local residents, businesses and communities of faith. About the Putnam County Wine & Food Fest: The fest brings together a multi-cultural audience while highlighting regional vineyards, local craft brewery, farmers, and arts and crafts coupled with showcasing an international mix of music and food. The fest is accessible to all transportation modes. Customers can take Metro-North’s Hudson Line to the Cold Spring Station to connect with either the trolley or walk to Mayor’s Park which is within walking distance.
